Favorite Granola:
Heat Oven to 300
In large bowl, combine:
5 C Oatmeal (real. not quick oats)
1 C Chopped Almonds
1 C Chopped Walnuts
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
(optional: add Flax Seed & Wheat Germ)
Set aside.
Heat in saucepan:
1/2 C Honey
1/2 C Oil (Canola, Olive, Avocado, or Coconut)
1/4 C Maple Syrup
1 C Water
Heat until tiny bubbles form around pot
Pour over the dry mix
Spread evenly, on foil, on two cookie sheets
Bake 40-50 min or until golden brown, stirring every 10 minutes.
Take out of oven and add:
1 C craisens or any dried fruit
1 C roasted pumpkin seeds
Store in tupperware in fridge or cupboard.

Love it! I love granola! I’ll have to try this. I haven’t made granola in a very long time (but I do buy nuts by the bag, like you. I’m a sucker for trail mix).
